What are Master Glyphs?
Master Glyph upgrades can improve an existing glyph’s effect, decrease the cost of the glyph, both, or even unlock an entirely new effect. Generally Rare Master Glyphs will provide more improvement over Uncommon Master Glyphs: they will either improve an existing glyph’s effect, decrease the cost of the glyph, both, or unlock an entirely new effect.
For example:
Costs 4 Glyph Points.
Costs 4 Glyph Points.
Costs 3 Glyphs Points.
Glyph Tiers
There are three tiers of Glyphs: Basic Master Glyph, Uncommon Master Glyph, and Rare Master Glyph. These are usually noted by a Uncommon icon (
) or Rare (
) on the top left of the glyph.
These glyphs are unlocked naturally by leveling up. These glyphs have a level requirement, most of which are often met by simply unlocking the skill.
These glyphs are unlocked with Khirian Glyph Crates and Vanguard Glyph Crates from Sabex Armory and Macellarius Catacombs, and through Vanguard Initiative Glyph Tokens (300 or 900 credits). These glyphs have a level requirement of 58, 60, 61, 63, or 65, depending on the glyph and either improve existing glyphs or add new glyph effects.
These glyphs are obtained from Crocstar Tokens (5 Tokens for a Glyph Box), Island of Dawn Tokens (Various amounts of Tokens for either Glyphs or Glyph Boxes and the level of the tokens), and the Ace Dungeons (1,000 medals). These glyphs have a level requirement of 65 and either improve existing glyphs or add new glyph effects.
How do I obtain them?
There are two pools of glyphs after the introduction of these glyphs. One pool comes from Sabex Armory, Macellarious Catacombs, and the Vanguard Initiative Quartermaster. The other pool comes from Plunder Glyph Boxes (obtained from Island of Dawn tokens and Crocstar Tokens) and Island of Dawn tokens.

I clicked the npc ace dungeon shop to seee what items there are…….and noticed there are no ace medals for glyphs? Has it been removed?
Do you have to learn the uncommon glyph before you can use the rare glyphs?
Like if an uncommon glyph uses 3 points, and a rare glyph of it uses 2 points, can I just find the rare glyph and use that?
You don’t need to learn the uncommon/pool1 glyphs before learning the rare/pool2 glyphs.
I have a question about the Uncommon Master Glyphs.
Some new uncommon master glyphs were released with the Knock Out patch…… But they are only attainable in Sabex/Marcellarius, right? I think Tera forgot to add the new ones to the Vanguard Initiative NPC shop too, correct?
Because I checked the Vanguard Initiative NPC tokens and it doesnt have the full list…….
There are two pools of Uncommon Master Glyphs.
First pool comes from only SA, MCat, Bellicarium Boxes(if those still exist), and Vanguards Glyph Tokens.
The other pool comes only from Desolarus Token Plunder Glyph Boxes. The VG tokens can’t get these.
Is there a list anywhere for how many rare glyphs exist per class? So far I got 5 rare glypsh on my reaper so far and I don’t want to waste Desolarus tokens if there nothing worth getting.

FYI Rare glyphs are obtainable in NA already. Only thing, is that the boxes are RNG based. From 5 boxes, I got 1 Rare Glyph. So, be ready to spend lots of tokens to get the desired/full set of rare glyphs on each of you characters. On a side note, excellent website. You have done a lovely job.
